Hayao Miyazaki: "The problem is that the anime industry is full of otaku"
The legendary director Hayao Miyazaki has never been a man to mince words, and in an interview recently posted on the Japanese web Golden Times shared their feelings about the current state of the anime industry while drawing again. And the words were not exactly devoted affection:
"You
see, that you can draw or not, being able to create designs like this
depends on whether you can you say to yourselves," Oh, yes, in real life
there are girls like this "".
"If you pass time watching real people, you can not you do this because you will have not seen real people."
"Some people only interested life passed by them."
"Nearly all Japanese animation is done without just watching real people, you know?".
"It's produced by human beings who can not bear to look at other human beings."
"And that's because the industry is full of otaku".
And yes, it says in the negative sense.
Otakus in the sense of people who spend more time with other people,
people mainly isolated and focused on their interests and not
sufficiently relate to the world.
Not the first time Miyazaki somewhat derogatory words dedicated to the
world of Japanese animation, and the first openly criticizing something.
